I am back after about 10 yrs due to insurance changes. Laurie Peterson is just as amazing now as she was then? So happy to be back.
I have been suffering for many years. Finally went and saw Laurie Peterson at Arizona Digestive health. She was very knowledgeable and and luckily knew about my health challenges. Many doctors just stare blankly about histamine intolerance. After many tests we were able to get to the root cause of my issues, celiac disease and sucrose intolerance. I will forever be grateful for this!

regarding: colonoscopy.... Overall a good place. My initial appointment with doc was positive and he suggested colonoscopy. Office staff is helpful and efficient. Endoscopy center next door -also efficient and kind staff. I liked my doc. Only problem was no followup call from the doctor to explain outcome or answer any questions I might have. Had a phone call from a non-medical office clerk with only medical terminology of diagnosis - no clarification or medical explanation at all- so had to rely on google to learn more. Days later I sent a portal message but only received short summary (not from doctor) on lab results. I assume my outcome is not serious, and doesn't warrant a followup with doc, but would have been nice to receive a brief call from him or his medial nurse to clarify outcome and answer whatever questions I might have. Overall I do recommend this location in Mesa.

Dr Patel is by FAR the best digestive doctor EVER!! I tried four other Gastro doctors with zero results. His entire staff is cheerful, intelligent and so on the ball!! So thankful for Dr Patel!
I have been taken care of very well by the doctors at AZ Digestive Health in Mesa for many years. Physician Assistant Laurie Peterson has a kind caring personality and always tries to help me to figure out what will help me the most. I can definitely recommend these doctors and nurses at the Arizona Digestive Health clinic in Mesa on Baseline Rd. Joan.
Had issues with my procedure being cancelled and rescheduled multiple times due to them not being able to get authorization from my insurance company. They seemed to not have any sense of urgency about it when I called and I would have just given up if it wasn’t for the fact that my symptoms are severe. The best way I found to get a call back from them was to text them, they are much more responsive than if you leave a voicemail. They finally got everything they needed from insurance and the day of the procedure went well. The facility is nice and new and the staff communicated everything thoroughly. Dr. Kavathia has been wonderful and I definitely recommend him.
I love them - Dr. Patel is fantastic and empathetic. This place is a very crucial part of my treatment for my crohn’s and everyone is so sweet. Clean facility.
I will say the one thing is, it’s hard to get a hold of them sometimes via call. They’re a little faster via the portal. But that’s just how it is, everyone got tummy issues these days so naturally they’re busy, I understand 🙏

I have had only wonderful experiences at AZ Digestive Health in Mesa with Dr Patel. He's very kind and caring and always has your personal health and well being at heart. He listens carefully, asks questions and explains everything in detail. Scheduling procedures is easy and every colonoscopy and endoscopy I've had over the years has gone so smoothly.The whole staff-in the office, surgery center and exam room, is very caring, and professional, and the facility is state-of-the art.
It can be difficult to get into a specialist anywhwere in the country, that is just inevitable, but Arizona Digestive Health was able to get me into an initial evaluation rather quickly (within a couple weeks) after I called the second time, and Laurie Peterson is 100/10 absolutely amazing!!!!! I would choose her as my provider for all my other needs if I could.

Great staff, easy checkin and way ahead of schedule. They moved quickly and efficiently which helped me feel comfortable with the process. First time colonoscipy and Endoscopy which all went well. Highly recommend.

My provider, Laurie Peterson MA is very knowledgeable and easy to discuss medical concerns/issues. She has a pleasant demeanor. I would recommend her for anyone that needs a great GI provider.
This ultra modern facility helps to streamline all phases of any digestive procedure. Parking is great with plenty of spaces, handicap parking as well as a designated patient pick up area.
The staffs professionalism and skills are second to none.

I have been going to Arizona Digestive for a long time . Lori Petterson is a great and has taken care of me for the whole time. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice. I have never had any problems with any one. Thanks for your great service Georgie McGinnis
