About Gary Monash, M.D.

Dr. Gary Monash is Board Certified in Gastroenterology who specializes in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and esophageal motility disorders (EMD). His professional experience includes over 40 years of local community practice, formerly serving as an Associate Clinical Instructor at the University of Arizona, and a history of writing TPN protocols for publication with T Squared Medical.

Dr. Monash prioritizes listening to his patients and believes that an open discussion on differential diagnosis is the key to a successful relationship with his patients. Dr. Monash has a passion for the physiology of the G.I. tract and contiguous organs, and enjoys performing endoscopic procedures.

Dr. Monash attended Michigan State University for his medical degree. After that, he attended the University of Michigan for his Medical Residency and Medical Fellowship.

Outside of his role as a gastroenterologist, Dr. Monash enjoys golfing, dancing, and hiking.
