Why Gastroenterology?
I chose to specialize in gastroenterology because I believe that gastrointestinal health is a core component of our overall wellbeing. Gastrointestinal diseases can have significant impact on our daily quality of life. I am grateful for the privilege of working in a fast-growing field with advancing research and innovation where I have the opportunity to meaningfully improve how my patients feel.

This is by far the best experience I’ve had with a colonoscopy. Doctor Fung is a very personable and kind person. He communicates well and he does everything he can to accommodate his patients needs. When I had my pre op appointment, he was on time. When I had my procedure, he was early which I love. The staff at the office is equally good. I highly recommend Doctor Fung.

Dr. Fung took his time and shared his many thoughts and ideas of what my diagnosis might be. He referred me to a few tests. After my appointment he called me himself to offer another possible diagnosis. I will be tested for that as well in order to narrow the possibilities. He truly cares, takes his time, and I feel comfortable being his patient. Very kind and professional. Office staff were also professional and efficient.
