Dr MacCollum is very compassionate and detailed. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, yet makes you feel like an old friend. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating. Going to see a doctor is not always the most pleasant day; however, Dr MacCollum and her staff make it very comforting. Thank you for all you do.
Dr. MacCollum is awesome! She listened with concern and answered all my questions. I am going through a serious issue and she and her MA PJ are being aggressive in making sure I receive the care needed as soon as possible. It's wonderful having the support I need to get through this!!
I recently had my yearly appointment with Dr MacCollum and as always it was great. I actually look forward to seeing not only the Doctor, but her staff as well. Dr MacCollum is like an old friend who has only your best healthcare in mind. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything in a way I can understand. If you’re looking for the best you need to get on her schedule.

Dr. MacCullom is very attentive, experienced and well organized (she had all the test results, etc from my primary care physician without any one in her office asking me for it). I felt I had her complete attention in every conversation we’ve had to date. She explained things and answered my questions in language I could understand. I would recommend her without any hesitation.
Great office staff and Dr. McCollum is always very nice and relaxed.. doesn't seem to be in a hurry even if she may be. I have always been treated with dignity and respect. Always a pleasant experience for scheduling an unpleasant procedure. It's nice to see PJ is still scheduling procedures for Dr. McCollum.

For as long as I’ve needed colonoscopies (due to a family history of colorectal cancer- and I think I’ve had something like 4 so far), Dr MacCollum has been my gastroenterologist.
She has a great bedside manner, is very thorough, and I have a lot of trust that she will do all she can to help catch anything that might crop up to spare me from what my Mom had to go through.
When I was recently due for my 5-year follow up colonoscopy, I didn’t give it a second thought that I would drive the nearly 6 hours from Southern Utah (where I recently moved) to Phoenix to have my colonoscopy done with her. (It took some planning to arrange a place to stay in order to prep, but I have some great friends in Phoenix.) And I was so glad I did. Her wonderful bedside manner was still the same and she and her staff were so great at preparing me for the procedure, answering any questions I had, explaining what was happening, and making me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.
I’m really grateful to have found Dr MacCollum all those years ago and will continue to make the trip to see her no matter where I am for as long as I can!
